Meet Nina V. Ellis, a soulful pop R&B artist with an unmistakably husky, smoky voice. Her music explores love, longing, heartbreak, and the courage to be seen and loved for who you are.
Her songs blend smooth pop R&B with heartfelt, stripped-down moments, including three openly sapphic love songs written from the heart of a woman who loves women. Nina will also step into her own story on Mel Hertz Stories, where one of those songs might just give her secret away.

AURA-5
AURA-5 started as a single song inside a love story and refused to stay there. The five-member group first appeared in Anywhere With You, and their music grew into a full debut EP, Stars Are Aligning. Built on late-night synths, soft confessions, and the feeling of being pulled into someone’s orbit, their songs now drift through stories across the Mel Hertz Stories universe. Listen closely and you might hear them playing in the background of your next favorite romance.

A Little About Mel
At fifty-eight, I never thought I'd be having this much fun doing something I love.
I spent so many years working, taking care of responsibilities, and putting my dreams aside. Now, here I am, writing stories, creating music, learning things I never imagined I'd be doing, and enjoying every bit of it.
I always thought this kind of excitement belonged to younger people. You know, that feeling of waking up and actually looking forward to what you're going to create next?
Well, apparently, you can feel that at fifty-eight, too.
And the best part? I'm having the time of my life.
